Outdoor Space

Outdoor learning and play

In urban environments, where many children don’t have a garden at home, outdoor space takes on extra significance. The importance of regular outdoor play in a stimulating and well equipped environment cannot be underestimated. Playing and exploring outside does wonders for children’s minds and body and research shows that children make up to five times more utterances outside than they do inside.

Both our nurseries were hand selected for their large outdoor spaces that adjoin the indoor environment and enable daily use.

The playground at More2Riverside is bigger than a full-size tennis court which makes it the largest at a private nursery in the local vicinity.

Outdoor learning and play

At More2Childcare we have two outdoor spaces (one for under twos and one for over two’s). Unless there is torrential weather, all our children spend upwards of 90 minutes a day (often more) learning, playing, moving and exploring outside.

Our Gardens

Our gardens are inspiring spaces and have been specially designed to be extensions of our indoor environments. They are equipped with mud kitchens, forest school areas, covered canopy areas, age appropriate climbing frames, planting areas and space for dancing, running and playing.
